The focus of my work is two-fold, diversity of expression and creative experimentation. I love inspiring makers of all types to tap into their inner world for inspiration and outward expression. My trunk show focuses largely on sharing the rewards of creatively stretching ourselves beyond our comfort zone.

THE ASCRIBE SERIES
Pictured here are parts of the first two artist-book sculptures that I created in the Ascribe series. This project began as a series of unusual glyphs began coming to me following the profound experience of awakening one morning to an image in my minds-eye and its meaning for me. Some months later I began filling pages and pages with similar imagery. Eventually I was inspired to create artist-books and sculptures that incorporate these glyphs.
As each Ascribe glyph comes through me I can 'feel' when I've gotten it right or need to correct an aspect of it. It is a resonance that is unmistakable. I can also 'feel' the positive nature of each glyph, as if it is an interpretation of divine light itself. ENERGETIC SIGNATURES
Science has come to acknowledge what mystics have long known. Our world is comprised of energy, vibration and frequency. All of life exists within this field of pure potential. We are quite literally light incarnate! Individually we carry an energetic signature that is uniquely our own. This is also true of anything we express or create. This allows us to connect to what we need from the resonate field on a deeply personal level, a level literally beyond words.
Each Ascribe glyph carries with it the energetic equivalent of an entire concept or intention. As one contemplatively gazes upon the glyph, they are moved from a left-brain logical query into an intuitive awareness beyond the linear thinking mind. The asemic properties of each glyph creates a resonance within the viewer that aligns with their unique energy signature. This resonance creates an understanding or intuitive awareness which speaks solely to the viewer. In this way no two people will ascribe the same meaning or interpretation to any one glyph.
